Openwater Habitat project study
Openwater Habitat is a specialist dive shop in Santa Ana. Its website needs to serve several visits at once: finding equipment, choosing training, arranging service, or planning a trip. qplldb’s design work brings those paths into one storefront.

Put practical details first
The opening makes location, hours, and contact details easy to find. Someone arranging a shop visit should not need to work through a product catalog to find the address or phone number.
Give different visitors different starting points
Equipment and training are distinct journeys. The navigation names those paths directly, and the opening actions provide a shopping path and a training path. The project includes Shopify storefront design and development rather than a standalone visual mockup.
Consider the phone layout
The mobile view keeps the shop’s identity, contact information, navigation, and next actions in reach. Desktop and phone layouts are shown in the interactive project feature on our homepage.
What this example demonstrates
This case study describes design decisions visible in the portfolio assets. It does not claim a measured increase in sales, traffic, or conversion, and it does not imply that every displayed product or operational workflow is complete. Further store work is managed in the client’s separate project.
